A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding a new section, designated §33-15-24, relating to medication; and providing insurance coverage for GLP-1 class medications with a valid script.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 15. ACCIDENT AND SICKNESS INSURANCE.

§33-15-24. Coverage for GLP-1 class medication.

Insurance coverage under this article shall be provided for GLP-1 class of medications, so long as the individual has a valid script for that medication.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to provide insurance coverage for GLP-1 class medications with a valid script.
